Pacquiao vs Hatton Fight: Street Fighter Style

September 27, 2009 gmc01 3 comments

Another reason to be proud of the Pacman

I don’t know if you guys have seen this but this is seriously, one of the funniest things I’ve seen online. It’s an edited version of the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight last May. Someone (a fellow Filipino probably) edited the 2-round fight and made it look EXACTLY like a Street Fighter 2 bout. From the opening sequence (with Pacman replacing Ryu), to the character selection screen, to the actual fighting, sound effects, life bars, and even the fighter dialogue at the end. The editing here is really something to see, and I know most gamers will find this hilarious!

Chester from Linkin Park tweets. Screw it, I’m joining Twitter!

Time to Tweet!

Time to Tweet!

So I just joined twitter today and I’m amazed at how cool it can be. Reading updates from people/organizations that really interest me is something  I can’t continue to pass up. Twitter’s really different from the social networking crap I stay away from. New information that I’m really interested in can pop up at any moment and that’s pretty cool. I agree with the twitter home page when it says: “Twitter really puts you in control and becomes a modern antidote to information overload.”

The one thing that probably convinced me to join was Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, who recently joined twitter, tweeting about the new Linkin Park song to be used as the theme for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. The new song’s entitled New Divide and It’’s out on May 18th!

Twitter’s good, isn’t it?

Metalgearsolid.org: The Unofficial site is back!

February 9, 2009 gmc01 1 comment

MetalGearSolid.org

Yes! I’ve been waiting for this site for so long! Finally, the BEST Metal Gear site on the net is back online! The new design is awesome and most of the incredible metal gear content like articles, galleries, and game and character pages is returning as well. The site’s still in beta and is a work in progress but from what I’ve seen this early on, MGS: TUS is definitely back in business.

It's back!

It's back!

Google Web Drive

January 21, 2009 gmc01 2 comments

Just read this very interesting piece of news about google’s  “Web Drive”:

New hint suggests Google on the verge of changing the PC as we know it

The Google Web Drive seems likely to be a free service which you sign up for. Google will offer you a sort of free hard drive based that can be accessed over the internet. Imagine they give away, say, 250 GB’s to anyone who signs up for the service. You would then be able to access your Google Web Drive from any computer (over the internet, of course.) So you can log in at your friends house, for example, and then play MP3 files streamed from your Web Drive. Or you can keep all your work related files there, so no matter where you are you can long in and have access to any important file you might need.

Wow, an online hard drive that gives you acess to all of your data from anywhere in the world, and best of all, it’s probably free. Yes! please make this happen Google! I’m willing to live with the downsides because the upsides outweigh them.

As for Google’s plans to take over the online world…only time will tell.

SantaBot – talk to Santa Clause!

Well, it’s Christmas again, time to be nice to the people I can’t stand. Anyway, I found this Santa Clause bot over at Neoseeker forums. You can tell him absolutely anything – and get hilarious responses in return! Oh man, this really made my Christmas funnier. Here’s some of things that I said; being the angry-perverted nerd that I am, some questions (and answers) can offend you (or not).

Want to know why Santa is fat?

Also, it looks like he has a few skeletons in his closet up in the North Pole

Apparently,  Santa thinks his wang and programming languages are related

At least he still wants our wishes to come true

Wow, it’s a good thing Santa isn’t for real…Merry Christmas.

ZOMG! In game Nookie!

November 12, 2008 gmc01 Leave a comment

I saw this vid in neoseeker. They labeled it as what could be gaming’s most shameless sexual innuendo. I’ve been gaming for almost 2 decades and I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s a clip from a game entitled Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia. I’ve never even heard of the game myself but judging from this hilarious clip, it’s an RPG. I don’t know if it’s bad translation or it was done on purpose. Anyway, just see the clip for yourselves. Sexual Innuendo in games has just gotten a LOT better.

Metal Gear Name generator and an MGS quiz game I made

October 28, 2008 gmc01 Leave a comment

I know some if not most of you really hardcore MGS fans already know this Metal Gear Name Generator but I thought I’d still post it for fans that don’t. BTW, My MGS codename is Hydrogen Bluebird.

Also, here’s a Metal Gear Saga quiz game that I made last June to celebrate the launch of MGS 4. It’s a trivia game I made using visual basic 6. As it was made before the release of MGS 4, some story facts that may have been changed in MGS 4’s story is still un-updated. Give it a try and tell me what you think. Here’s a screenshot:
