Just read this very interesting piece of news about google’s “Web Drive”:
New hint suggests Google on the verge of changing the PC as we know it

The Google Web Drive seems likely to be a free service which you sign up for. Google will offer you a sort of free hard drive based that can be accessed over the internet. Imagine they give away, say, 250 GB’s to anyone who signs up for the service. You would then be able to access your Google Web Drive from any computer (over the internet, of course.) So you can log in at your friends house, for example, and then play MP3 files streamed from your Web Drive. Or you can keep all your work related files there, so no matter where you are you can long in and have access to any important file you might need.
Wow, an online hard drive that gives you acess to all of your data from anywhere in the world, and best of all, it’s probably free. Yes! please make this happen Google! I’m willing to live with the downsides because the upsides outweigh them.
As for Google’s plans to take over the online world…only time will tell.
